Hooked! at Grandline High - Devlog 2/4/23

Hey guys! Long time, no update!

I've had Hooked! on the backburner for a while. I felt stuck with the story. Originally, the big event at the end of the day was going to be a play, specifically Romeo and Juliet. I honestly have... no idea where I pulled that from.  I've recently changed it to..... drumroll please.... a school sports festival based after the Davy-back Fight arc! I know, not the most popular arc, but it is surprisingly enough my favorite. I've felt stuck on art as well, as I'm generally not happy with the sprites and *definitely* not happy with the background. I've been sourcing the bg online, and it didn't really feel cohesive, so I'm either going to source them all from the same place, or make my own! We'll see how that goes... ^^'

I wan't to be really transparent about the development of this game! It will take a while. Most likely a long while. It's the first game I've ever made, and I'm a full time student. I'm linking a Ko-fi below, for donations if you feel like it!

I want to emphasize there is *no* pressure to donate, as there isn't a guarantee I'll finish the game! It's only if you can spare the cash.
